Description
Introduction of Bote Illumination Cylinder Lenses
Cylindrical mirrors are designed for applications that require one-dimensional shaping of the light source. They have two structures: flat-concave and flat-convex, both of which are used to diverge or converge light beams respectively.
Generally used to focus incoming light onto a line, or to change the aspect ratio of an image. Cylindrical lens have a cylindrical surface that allows incoming light to focus in a certain dimension and stretch the image.
Cylindrical mirrors can have negative or positive focal lengths and are suitable for laser line generation or deformed beam shaping to cyclize laser output.
The base materials include K9, UV fused quartz, CaF2, ZNSE, etc. All materials can be optionally uncoated or coated with AR coating.
We also supply cylindrical lenses, non-cylindrical lenses and cylindrical achromatic cemented lenses.
Application
Bote cylindrical lenses are widely used in various fields, including but not limited to:
- Imaging system: used to correct astigmatism and adjust image height and shape.
- Laser technology: for beam shaping, laser focusing and beam splitting.
- Medical Devices: Laser correction and imaging systems for eye surgery.
- Scientific research: applied to astronomical instruments, microscopes and spectrometers.
Feature of Bote Illumination Cylinder Lenses
- N-BK7 Illumination Grade PCX Cylinder Lenses are similar to Plano-Convex (PCX) lenses in profile, but include a portion of a cylinder instead of a sphere. These lenses focus light in one dimension and can transform a point of light into a line.
- Bote Illumination Grade PCX Cylinder Lenses are available in circular and rectangular versions, along with multiple coating options.
- Cylinder lenses are ideal for line projection in machine vision applications or guidance systems.rate for Broadband Performance
- Cost-Effective for OEM Integration
- Multiple Coating Options Available
