Description
Introduction of Bote Infrared (IR) Lenses
Bote committed to researching various infrared materials covering almost the entire infrared spectrum. Bote Optics supplies zinc selenide, zinc sulfide, silicon, germanium, gallium arsenide, calcium fluoride, barium fluoride and chalcogenide spherical lenses and aspherical lenses.
We use laser-based edging equipment to control the eccentricity of mid-wave infrared and long-wave infrared lenses and test them on reflective centering tables to achieve extremely precise tasks.
Zinc selenide has good transmittance in the 0.5-22μm, especially 10.6μm band, and is often used in thermal imaging and FLIR systems. Its excellent low absorption coefficient and high thermal shock resistance make it ideal for high-power CO2 lasers.
Since zinc selenide is a relatively soft material that can easily leave scratches and dents on the surface during processing, it is not recommended for use in harsh environments.
Application
In the field of security monitoring, infrared lenses can be used in infrared thermal imaging cameras to capture thermal radiation images of objects at night or under low light conditions, helping surveillance personnel detect potential security threats.
In the military, infrared sights use infrared lenses to allow soldiers to clearly find targets and aim and shoot in the dark.
In terms of industrial testing, the thermal distribution of equipment can be detected and hidden faults can be discovered in a timely manner.
In the field of autonomous vehicle driving, infrared sensors paired with infrared lenses can assist vehicles in sensing the surrounding environment, identifying pedestrians, vehicles and other objects, and improving driving safety.
Feature of Bote Infrared (IR) Lenses
Compared with its competitors, Bote Optics is advanced The ZnSe manufacturing technology ensures excellent surface quality. For cosmetically sensitive systems, our best efforts can achieve an S/D rating of 20-10. ZnSe Aspherical Lenses are also available for your application. See Infrared Aspherical Lenses for more information. ZnSe Dome optics are also available
Our infrared lenses can also be supplied with AR coatings upon specific request. Please use extreme caution when handling, mounting, and cleaning infrared lenses, and for your safety, follow all appropriate precautions, including wearing gloves when handling these lenses and washing your hands thoroughly afterward.
