Description

Introduction of Bote Laser Line Bandpass Filters

Bote bandpass and laser line filters are made of vacuum-deposited optical film materials on the substrate.

An optical filter is usually composed of a stack of multiple dielectric films with different refractive indexes. A Fabry-Perot (F-P) interference cavity is formed between the dielectric films and the intermediate spacer layer.

The thickness of the dielectric film is λ/4, and the thickness of the intermediate spacer layer (F-P cavity) = (nλ)/2 (λ is the design center wavelength, n is an integer), which satisfies the constructive interference of the center wavelength.

Therefore, only the center wavelength can be completely transmitted. . By changing the thickness of the spacer layer and the number of dielectric film layers, the center wavelength and bandwidth of the filter can be changed.

In addition to standard line filters, Bote also provides customized services for a variety of filters. If you have special needs, please contact Bote.
